Data Deletion
You can delete your Hooklink data and your connected Instagram account data at any time. Here's exactly what we store, how to remove it, and how long it takes.
How to delete your data
Disconnect an Instagram account
In Hooklink, go to Settings and disconnect the account. We immediately delete its stored access token and stop all automations for it — the account's automations, runs, captured leads and follower-growth records are removed.
Delete your entire account
In Settings you can delete your Hooklink account. This permanently removes your profile, every connected Instagram account, and all related automations, runs, leads and follower-growth data.
Remove Hooklink from Instagram / Facebook
Open your Instagram or Facebook settings → Apps and websites → remove Hooklink. Meta then notifies us automatically and we delete the data for that connected account — no further action needed from you.
Email us a request
Prefer we handle it? Email hooklinkadmin@gmail.com from your account email with the subject “Data deletion request” and we'll process it and confirm by email.
What gets deleted
- Connected Instagram account(s) and their encrypted access tokens
- Automations and their configuration
- Automation run history
- Captured leads (emails / phone numbers)
- Follower-growth event records
- Your Hooklink profile (on full account deletion)
Timeline & retention
Disconnecting an account and removing Hooklink from Instagram/Facebook take effect immediately. Account-deletion and email requests are completed within 30 days, and usually much sooner.
We may retain a minimal set of records (for example billing/transaction records) where we are legally required to, as described in our Privacy Policy. These are not used for any other purpose.
